Established in 1886 and subsequently redesigned by J H Taylor & Hawtree, the course is situated on typical Surrey chalk Downland
The rolling slopes provide an excellent example of the open commons on which the majority of inland courses were laid out when golf first became popular in England. We are immensely proud of our heritage, but are still able to be forward thinking and progressive as a Club.
Guildford is a friendly and welcoming club. Measuring 6,160 yards, the course is suitable for golfers of all abilities. All visitors can enjoy full use of the club’s facilities, including fabulous clubhouse bars, our warm up range and short game practice areas.
